Overview:

The workshop introduces science and math teachers to the IDEA Model, a framework emphasizing Inquire, Define, Execute, and Assess, to enhance student learning through inquiry-based projects. Participants gain a practical experience to integrate the IDEA Model into their teaching, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in students.

Purpose and Description:

The purpose of this workshop was to equip science and math teachers with the tools and strategies to implement the IDEA Model in their projects, fostering inquiry-based learning and critical thinking skills in students.

During 5 session workshop, AIS Science and Math teachers engaged in interactive sessions to learn about the core principles of the IDEA Model, including identifying opportunities for insight user situations, Scope down the focus, designing potential solutions, guiding students through experimentation, and analysing outcomes.
